🎀 Coquette Bow Scarf — Written Pattern

Materials

• Worsted-weight yarn (soft pastel looks best)

• 4.0 mm crochet hook (or whatever matches your yarn)

• Yarn needle

• Scissors

Finished Size

• Scarf width: about 6–7 cm

• Length: about 80–100 cm (adjust to your taste)

• Bow width: about 12–14 cm

Stitches Used (in simple terms)

• Chain

• Single crochet (tight short stitch)

• Slip stitch (joining stitch)

Part 1 — The Scarf (the long strip)

1. Make a chain 10 stitches long.
   (This decides the width.
   Want it thinner? chain 8. Thicker? chain 12.)

2. Starting from the second chain from the hook,
   Work 1 single crochet in each chain.

3. Chain 1, turn.
   Work 1 single crochet in each stitch across.

4. Repeat that row again and again
   until the scarf reaches the length you want.
   (Usually 80–100 cm for short aesthetic style.)

5. Do not cut the yarn yet — keep it attached.

Part 2 — The Bow

We make the bow as a separate rectangle, then pinch it.

1. Chain 18.

2. Work 1 single crochet in each chain.

3. Chain 1, turn, work single crochet across.

4. Repeat until the piece looks like a wide, short rectangle
   (about 10–12 rows tall).

This is the bow fabric.

5. Fold/pinch the middle to shape a bow (like squeezing a bow tie).

Part 3 — Bow Center Wrap

We make the little strip that wraps around the bow’s middle.

1. Chain 6.

2. Single crochet in each chain.

3. Chain 1, turn, single crochet across.

4. Repeat until it is long enough to wrap around the bow’s middle snugly.

Cut yarn, leaving a tail.
